Minister James R. Normil
James is a member of Boston Missionary Baptist Church (BMBC). He became a believer at the tender age of 11 and was the youngest member of the Unity Mass Choir. During his difficult teen years, his love for God waned, however, during the winter of 2005 God restored James and he has been a student of the word ever since.
Over a period of more than 12 years, James has been instrumental in starting and coordinating several ministry efforts at BMBC and other churches. In 2006, he co-founded the Men of Dominion ministry, and in 2010, he collaborated with others in starting a new men's ministry, "Man to Man". This ministry continues to primarily serve men between the ages of 17 to 40 through prayer, Bible study, and brotherly fellowship.

During the years of 2012 through 2015, James was instrumental in starting a basketball fellowship, the Boston Missionary Basketball Association (BMBA). The league saw tremendous growth during its four seasons of operation, March - June each year. The purpose of the league was to promote fellowship among believers while simultaneously providing opportunities to share the gospel with non-believers in the neighboring communities.
Through the AWANA program at BMBC, James taught middle and junior high school students. He has been teaching Sunday school classes and preaching for more than 10 years. Since 2012, he has been teaching the adult Sunday class and preaching at least once a month at BMBC, his home church.
James is currently serving in the music and entertainment ministry with "Moonlight Ministries, LLC". Moonlight Ministries was founded by him in 2016 with a mission to share the truth and love of the gospel to greater Boston and beyond. The entertainment provided is biblically sound, educational, and apologetic in nature. The ministry is broadcasted on WEZE 590AM and Radio Echo Evagelique 88.9FM SCA.
